By the end of 2011, more than 50% of US consumers were carrying a connected smart device- Nielsen Media.  As both smartphone Interactivity and DOOH evolve, the interactivity between them has led to unique marketing opportunities beyond SMS and QR code engagement. Wi-Fi, next generation Bluetooth technology, and NFC are making it possible to connect seamlessly between these two channels.

The Second Annual August 2012 MXMSeries’ focus is around the evolution of digital out-of-home (DOOH) screen marketing and the convergence topics, strategies and success stories around the connected marketing environment with mobile.  In order to bring together expertise from the out-of-home digital screen marketplace, MXM has partnered with the Digital Screenmedia Association (DSA) and the Digital Place based Advertising Association to co-produce this event.
