SFX Entertainment joins forces with elevate DIGITAL to create an interactive experience at Electroni

Electronic music event and media producer will first use elevate DIGITAL screens at Spring Awakening Music Festival to enhance fan experience.


Chicago –June 13, 2014 –SFX Entertainment, Inc., the leading producer of live events and digital entertainment content focused exclusively on electronic music culture (EMC) and other world-class festivals has partnered with Chicago-based elevate DIGITAL to bring street level interactive technology to electronic music festivals across the world.  The first event will be the React Presents’ Spring Awakening Music Festival taking place at Chicago’s Soldier Field June 13 – 15, drawing world renowned electronic dance music artists.


elevate DIGITAL will deploy interactive, multi-touch displays in key areas of upcoming music festivals to transform the fan experience.  The devices will present new digital and interactive sponsor opportunities, a fun “selfie” photo feature and informational event apps.  The elevate displays will also hand-off information to the fans via mobile, email and social, so information can be taken with them.  In addition, the displays will showcase after party events so that fans can plan to continue their evening.  The after party function will allow the fan to take the location, time and details with them on their personal mobile device as well.

Fans visiting the displays will have the ability to take a “selfie” photo with a frame co-branded for Spring Awakening and iHeartRadio, Clear Channel’s all-in-one digital music service.  Fans will then have the ability to share their photo via email or Facebook.  This feature creates added value for festival sponsors, creates a fun and meaningful interaction and extends the messaging beyond the point of contact.  The displays are configured to allow sponsors to play videos, brand the exterior of the unit, sponsor applications, and create customized content.
