This Year’s Video Everywhere Summit Will Be the Best Yet

It’s been a big year for digital out of home (DOOH) and the momentum is only growing. DOOH revenues are continuing to increase at an accelerated rate. As PQ Media predicted recently, this year DOOH revenues are expected to grow by 8.7%.
This makes perfect sense for today’s modern consumer. Long gone are the days of sitting at home. Today, people are out and about and they are consuming media on the go. Whether that’s on the screen at the gym where they work out, in the airport bar while they wait for their flight, or in the metro while they wait for the train. These are ripe opportunities to connect with consumers who are just waiting for media and ads to consume.
But as they say, the more things change, the more they stay the same. What’s one thing that has not changed? The importance of good storytelling. Good content, no matter what type of content, needs a good story at the foundation. What else does good content need? Context. The art of being able to tell a good story is knowing your audience. You know what they like, what they don’t like, what they need, what they value.
In our industry, the idea of “knowing your audience” means having really smart data insights. It means using that data to tell a great story to the right people in the right place at the right time. The good news? With today’s technology, we are perfectly capable of doing this.
For this year’s Video Everywhere Summit, we are bringing together the best and brightest for the largest one-day event that is dedicated to multi-screen engagements. We are joined by folks doing incredible things from brands, agencies, media, ad tech, mobile and location data, research and technology partners to discuss the latest innovations in the video space and hear from thought leaders who are actively pushing the industry even further. You can see the full list of speakers here.
